Vixy and Tony lyrical icons

A month or so ago I saw this fabulous duo called Vixy and Tony when they performed at the Ontario Filk con amd was just blown away by their talent. I've made a set of icons using some of their lyrics. Some are also lyrics from the first album that Michelle Dockrey (Vixy) worked on called Shadowbeast.

*ETA* This is my first set made on my laptop and I see I've run into the classic problem of them looking too dark on non-laptop screens (at least to my eye looking at these from work) so here are the 4 that looked far too dark to me on a regular monitor vs a laptop one:

I like them a lot! I don't know those songs at all, but the use of picture make them perfectly intelligible, even without context.
Taking 3, 17 & 21, will credit if used. Thanks =D

Excellent, I'm glad you like the icons despite not knowing the music. All of the songs are up on Vixy and Tony's website, they're very much worth listening to when you have a moment :)

These are lovely. And I find it hard not to fall in love with Michelle Dockrey's voice.

She and Tony left many a Toronto Browncoat enamored with them. It's a shame that their home base is so far away or we'd totally be taking a few road trips :)

Not taking any, but icons with Escape Key lyrics! EEEE! I love them all, especially the "Girl That's Never Been" ones. Lovely combo of images and words.

Oh my goodness. Finding Escape Key icons made my week. I'm snagging the Persephone and The Girl That's Never Been icons for future use, and you will receive credit, of course.

I've kept this tab open for over a month, meaning to comment and not getting to it, but never closing it and looking every so often.

I'm incredibly touched and flattered and thrilled and just generally full of SQUEE that these icons exist.

I hope it won't be completely weird of me to take some of these myself, 'cause although I haven't decided which ones yet, I'm definitely gonna. :)

Thank you so much! I had fun making these and like I commented above to Tony I've got your CD (and also the Escape Key one) keeping me entertained at work (and at home.) You guys make great music!

That's a fantastic song to pull quotes from. I was already hooked by the time they played it here last Spring, when I heard that song I was about ready to run for the merch room to buy the CDs :)

Thanks :) I really like the image you used for the "no one's sane behind their mask" line. I was trying to pull from as many different Alice sources as I could and needed a Disney one in there somewhere.
